Belief Development Foundation

We are situated in New Basti Jalal Nagar, right by the Noorani Maszid in Amroha. My father is Muktiyar Saifi, and our place is in this neighborhood. It’s a lively area with the mosque nearby and people constantly walking by the door. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet with people. It’s nothing special to look at, just painted walls and some sturdy furniture. We usually have the doors open so the breeze can come through. Sometimes the neighborhood kids run past and make a bit of a racket. We don't really use computers for everything; we still like our paper files. It feels more real that way. The lights flicker sometimes when the load is high on the grid. We just keep working through it. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to handle our business in the place where we live. Most of the people who come here are our neighbors or friends. We offer them a chair and some water while we talk. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have any polished mission statements or big goals we talk about. We just look at what needs to be sorted out today and we get to work on it together.
