Sonyog Enterprises

The area around 34, Industrial Focal Point on Mehta Road is always dusty because of the trucks. Sonyog Enterprises is right in the middle of all that activity. When you arrive in the morning, you can hear the sound of engines and people yelling instructions across the yards. It’s a busy spot. We’ve got a small office space and then the area where we keep all the inventory. It isn't the cleanest place in the world but it is where we get everything done. Most of the staff has been here for years so we all know how the machines work and where everything is kept even if it looks messy to an outsider. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside quite muddy and that makes things slow down a bit. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people or just checking the manifests. It’s practical work. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there at a desk covered in ledgers and pens. We take our tea breaks together near the back door where there is a bit of a breeze. It is just a regular business day for us, starting when the sun comes up and finishing when the gates close. No one here wears a suit, we just wear what’s comfortable for moving things around.
