Our office is located in the Furniture Plus Building right on the Majitha By Pass in Amritsar. It is a busy stretch of road and we are tucked away next to the Golden View Resort. Being near the Metro Store makes it easy to find, which is good for people coming from further out. Inside, it is mostly what you would expect from a workplace like ours. There are rows of filing cabinets and desks that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time looking at documents and answering the phone. The traffic outside can get loud, especially during the morning rush, but we have gotten used to the sound. People usually come in with a lot of questions and we sit down to go through the details together. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. There is just a small seating area where people wait if we are busy with someone else. Usually, we are drinking tea while we work through the stacks of folders. Sometimes the computers act up or the printer jams, but we just deal with it and keep moving. It is a steady environment. We see a lot of regular faces from around the city and new people too. We just focus on getting the paperwork sorted and making sure everything is filed where it needs to be before we head home for the evening.
