Tarannum-E-Shehnai

Tarannum-E-Shehnai is based right here in Amritsar, Punjab. We’ve been part of this city for quite a while now. Amritsar is a place with a lot of history and heart, and we like to think we fit into that in our own small way. We don't have a big, shiny corporate headquarters or anything like that. Our setup is pretty simple and down-to-earth. Most of the time, we’re busy with the day-to-day things that keep us going. It’s not always pretty—our workspace can get a bit messy when things are in full swing—but it’s where we feel at home. We don’t go in for all those fancy words people use to describe businesses these days. We just do what we do and try to stay on top of everything. The sounds of the city are always in the background, which is just how life is here in 143001. Some days are long, and the weather in Punjab can be tough, either very hot or quite cold, but we keep the doors open and the lights on. It’s a straightforward way of living and working. We know the streets here and the people. There’s no grand mission statement on our wall, just a calendar and maybe some old notes taped up. We are just a local bunch in Amritsar making our way and doing the work as it comes to us, day by day.
