Surjit Light & Sound

In Amritsar, Surjit Light & Sound has been around for quite a while now. We keep our main office in Dayanand Nagar, right opposite Bijli Pehlwan, and there is another place at House Number 208 in Court Manna Singh. Most people know us by the water tank near Lawrence Road. We spend most of our time dealing with speakers, wires, and lighting rigs. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and setting up stages for local events. Whether it’s a religious function, a wedding, or just a small gathering that needs a microphone, we handle it. The equipment takes a lot of maintenance so there is always someone in the shop cleaning things or fixing a broken cable. Lawrence Road is a busy area so we are always on the move. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to handle the gear. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially when we are setting up outdoors, but we manage. We’ve worked in almost every corner of Amritsar by now. People usually just call us up or walk into the office when they need sound for something. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just want to make sure the audio is clear and the lights work when they’re supposed to. It's a steady life and we like being part of the local community celebrations. We try to be reliable and show up on time every time. It is just honest work.
