Sriguru Ramdas Hospital

Sriguru Ramdas Hospital is located over at Mall Mandi, right on the busy Grand Trunk Road. It is quite a spot to be in because the traffic never really stops and you can see people coming from all over Amritsar. We are just opposite that 100 Feet Road that leads toward Golden Avenue. Most of the time, the air is full of the sounds of rickshaws and cars, but inside the hospital, we just stick to our work. The building itself has been here for a while and it feels like part of the local scenery now. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. Instead, there are benches and hallways that have seen a lot of use over the years. Staff members come in early to get things sorted before the first lot of patients arrive from the nearby colonies. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the waiting area, especially on Monday mornings when everyone seems to need something at once. We just handle things as they come. Being near Mall Mandi means we get a lot of travelers too, not just the regulars from around Golden Avenue. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything. Most people know where we are because they pass that junction every day on their way to work or the market. It’s just a regular hospital doing its bit on a very busy road in Amritsar.
