We've been here at Shop No. 1024/6 in Bazaar Gandan Wala for a long time now. People mostly know us as Sohan Singh Inder Singh. It’s a busy spot in Majith Mandiamritsar, right near the State Bank of India. You can't really miss it if you're walking through the market. This area is always full of people moving around, and we've just become part of the daily routine here. The shop isn't huge, but we keep things moving. We deal with folks coming in from all over the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets quite loud outside with the bank traffic and the market stalls, but that's just how it is in this part of Amritsar. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing the faces that walk through the door. It isn’t some fancy showroom. It’s just a regular place where we do our work every day. We open up in the morning, set things straight, and wait for the first customers. Being in Majith Mandi means you see a lot of different things. Most days are pretty much the same, filled with chatter and the usual business of the bazaar. If you find yourself near the bank, we are just a few steps away. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We just try to keep things honest and keep the lights on.
