Singh Gurbir Architect

My workspace is called Green House, located at H.No.4898 in Amarkot, Gali No.2. It’s right near Khalsa College and the Putlighar post office. I’ve been working as Singh Gurbir Architect for a long time now. The house is old but it works well for an office. I have my drawing table in the main room and some files tucked away in the back. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, except when the college students are heading home. I don't really do the whole corporate thing. I prefer meeting people here or at their building sites to talk about what they need. I handle all the drawings myself, and I have a guy who helps with the site visits when things get busy. It’s simple work, really. I take the ideas people have and try to put them on paper so the builders don't get confused. Amarkot is a nice place to work from. There’s a lot of history in the buildings around here, and I think that rubs off on my work sometimes. I don't use any fancy software if a pencil and ruler will do the trick. People know where to find me if they have a project in mind. I usually have a pot of tea going, so it’s a comfortable place to sit and chat about renovations or new builds. I just keep things basic and honest. I hope the traffic on Gali No. 2 stays clear today.
