We’ve been here at Mai Sewan Bazar for a long time now. It’s a busy spot and things are always moving. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the people walking past, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Our family started this up and we just kept it going. There isn't much to say about us besides the fact that we show up every morning and open the shutters. You’ll usually find one of us sitting behind the counter or moving boxes around in the back. The shop isn’t fancy or anything. We have stuff piled up where we can find it, though sometimes it takes a minute if it's a busy day. It's a simple life really. We know the neighbors and they know us. If the tea man comes by, we take a break. Most days are pretty similar to the one before. People come in looking for things, we help them find what they need, and then they go on their way. It’s not about being the biggest place around, we just like being part of the market. The building is old but it holds up. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for photos. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the customers are sorted. We don't have a website or a big social media presence. Most people just walk in off the street because they saw the sign. That’s how Singh Brothers has always been and likely how it will stay for the future.
