Singh Brothers has been located in Bazar Mai Sewan for quite some time. Being so close to the Golden Temple means the area is always crowded and full of energy. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long from our shop. We don’t have a big, modern storefront. It’s a traditional space that’s been used for years. We do our business face-to-face mostly. People walk in from the street, sometimes they’re just looking, sometimes they need something specific. We don't use a lot of fancy technology here. We prefer the old ways of keeping track of things. It works fine for us. There are piles of stock here and there, and the lighting isn't always the best, but we know every inch of the place. We aren't interested in being the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to provide what people are looking for when they come into the bazaar. Sometimes we sit outside and talk to the neighbors when it’s not too busy. It’s a community feel. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we’re still here in the same spot. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s a simple way to run things. The narrow lanes make deliveries a bit difficult, but we’ve figured out how to handle the logistics over the years.
