I’m based in the Housing Board Colony, specifically at 908-A in Sector-3 of Ranjit Avenue. It’s a quiet corner compared to the main market areas. My office is basically just a room filled with drawing boards and a lot of old files. I’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. Working in Sector-3 is nice because it feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. I don't have a fancy storefront with big lights. It’s just a door with a small plate on it. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess. I’ve got blueprints from five years ago mixed in with projects I’m doing today. I spend a lot of my time on the phone with contractors or squinting at computer screens. It’s not the most glamorous job, but I enjoy the challenge of making things fit. Sometimes I sit on the small porch and think about a layout while watching the neighbors go by. It’s a very normal way to work. I don't do the whole corporate pitch thing. I just talk to people like a regular person. If a design isn't working, I’ll tell you straight. I’m not interested in making things sound more complicated than they are. People come to 908-A because they want someone who knows the local rules and can get a drawing done. That’s what I do. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy enough.
