Simla Laminators

Simla Laminators is right on Court Road, very close to the railway station and Nh No.1. It is a loud spot because of the trains and the heavy trucks moving on the highway, but it makes it easy for people to find us. Being near the court means we see a lot of people coming in with important papers that need protecting. We’ve been at this location for a long time, watching the commuters rush to the station every morning and evening. The shop itself is narrow and filled with the smell of warm plastic from the lamination machines. It’s a smell you get used to after the first week. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to run the rollers without getting bubbles in the film. The tables are usually piled with documents and legal sheets. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a lot of people come in at once after a court session ends. We just keep working through the pile. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people seeing the sign when they walk past the station. It’s a practical business for a practical part of town. We just focus on keeping the machines running smooth.
