Sharma Gift Centre

Our shop is Sharma Gift Centre, and we are located at Shop No. 5 in Tilak Nagar, Amritsar. We are right across the road from Chand Dairy, which everyone in this part of town knows. It is a small, cozy place where we sell all sorts of gifts, toys, and items for the home. Since we are in Punjab, the winters can get pretty cold, so we usually have a small heater going while we wait for customers. We have been part of Tilak Nagar for many years and have seen a lot of local folks come and go. People often stop by after picking up their milk or sweets from the dairy across the street. We spend our time cleaning the glass displays and making sure the toys are arranged nicely. It is not a high-tech shop; it is just a traditional gift store where you can find something for any occasion. Sometimes we just sit on the stools out front and chat with the other shopkeepers on the block. It is a very friendly neighborhood and we feel right at home here. We don't do much in the way of promotion or big advertisements. Our neighbors just know we are here in Tilak Nagar and they come in when they need a card or a small present for a cousin’s wedding. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day here in Amritsar. We are just glad to be a part of the daily life on this street.
