Senor Educational Foundation

You can find Senor Educational Foundation over at the Sachdeva Complex, right outside Gate Khazana in Amritsar. We are up on the first floor. It is a busy spot with a lot of shops and people moving through the gate area at all hours. Our office consists of a couple of rooms that are usually overflowing with books and papers. We don't have any of those fancy modern glass partitions or expensive carpets. The floors are just plain stone, and the desks are old ones we found years ago. We focus on education because it is something we all care about deeply here. It is not a big operation with hundreds of staff members. Usually, it is just a few of us trying to keep the records straight and help students who come through the door. The building itself is an older one, so the walls have some cracks and the windows rattle a bit when it's windy. We don't really care about the looks of the place as long as we can get the work done. People from the neighborhood know they can just come up the stairs and talk to us. We don't have any formal appointment system. If we are there, we will talk to you. It is a very straightforward way of running things. We are just local people in Amritsar trying to make sure the next generation has what they need to succeed.
