Sant Travel Agency

We have been running Sant Travel Agency out of Shop No 22/7 on Albert Road for a good while. Our spot is right on the Outsation Railway Road here in Amritsar, which is basically the heart of the 143001 area. If you look for the Carnal Office, we are just right opposite that building. It gets quite busy outside with all the people moving toward the railway station. We spend our days mostly answering the phones and keeping track of bookings. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for us. We have a few chairs for when people come in to talk about their trips. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool while we work on the computer. We don't have any flashy advertisements around. Most of the people who come to us are locals or those who happen to be passing by on Albert Road. We handle a lot of different travel needs, just regular stuff like tickets and transport. It’s honest work and we’ve been at it for years. The traffic outside can be a bit of a mess in the afternoons, especially with the rickshaws and buses. We just stay focused on our work and try to help everyone who walks through the door. It feels like a small community here. We know the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s just how we live and work in this part of Amritsar.
