Sajan Gift House

Our shop is right in the middle of Main Bazar in Mahindra Colony. It’s a lively spot with lots of neighbors walking by every day. We started Sajan Gift House because we wanted to have something of our own in the local area. The space isn't huge but we fit a lot of different items inside. You can find toys, small decor pieces, and cards. Most of our days are spent talking to people from the colony. It's a tight-knit place. Sometimes the street gets blocked with bikes, but that is just how it is in the bazaar. We don't use any big computers or anything, just a notebook to keep track of things. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front. We get a lot of kids coming in after school looking for pens or stickers. It makes the day go by faster. We try to keep the windows clean so people can see what’s new, though the dust from the road makes it hard. We’ve learned what the local families like over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around. We just want to stay open and serve the people who live right here. It's a honest way to earn a living and we appreciate everyone who stops by. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the market gets a bit quieter. It’s been a good journey so far for us.
