Sai Saloon And Botique

We’ve been running the shop at Shop No 379 for quite a while now. It’s right on MM Malvia Road, very close to Lawrence Road here in Amritsar. Being near Company Bagh is a real plus because we see a lot of people walking by after their morning or evening strolls. The place is a mix of a saloon and a boutique, which some people find a bit unusual at first, but it works for us. You can come in for a haircut and then browse some of the clothes we have on display. We don’t have any of those fancy corporate scripts or high-pressure sales tactics. It’s just us doing our daily work. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the boutique side gets a bit crowded with fabrics and finished suits, but that’s just how it goes. We handle the stitching and the styling ourselves. We’ve seen many families come through these doors over the years. Some kids who used to come for their first haircuts are now bringing their own children. It makes the place feel like a part of the neighborhood. We try to keep the mirrors clean and the scissors sharp. There’s no big philosophy behind it; we just open up, do the jobs people ask for, and try to be helpful. It’s a busy street outside, but we like the energy of Amritsar and being right here on Lawrence Road.
