Down in the Ambattur Industrial Estate, specifically at 1138 Annanagar in the West End Colony, you’ll find Reachem Laboratory Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here depending on where you live in Chennai, but this is where all the industrial action is. Our building is a simple one, and we use most of the space for storing the laboratory chemicals we handle. It smells a bit like a science lab sometimes, but you stop noticing it after five minutes. The Mugapair area has changed a lot over the years, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same. We unload supplies, check the labels, and get them ready for the next truck. It’s physical work and it gets quite hot in the warehouse during the summer months. We have a couple of old fans that do their best, but mostly we just drink a lot of water and keep moving. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR person. If you want to know something, you just ask one of us. We are just a group of people who know their way around a chemical inventory and don't mind getting our hands a bit dirty. The gate is always open during business hours, and there’s usually someone around to help if a visitor wanders in looking for the right unit.
