Rajiv Clinic

Rajiv Clinic is located right in the middle of Ram Naga Bazar in Islamabad. It is a very busy spot with lots of shops and people moving around all day long. We have been here for a long time, and the clinic is basically just a few rooms where we see patients. It’s not a fancy place with high-end furniture. We have some wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. Most of the people who come here are from the local neighborhood or workers from the bazaar. We handle things like stomach aches, skin rashes, and basic injuries. When the bazaar is loud, you can hear everything inside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The clinic is small, so we have to keep things very tidy or it feels cramped. We don’t have a lot of high-tech equipment, just the stuff we need to check blood pressure and look at throats. I’ve lived in Islamabad for most of my life, so I know a lot of the families that come through the door. Sometimes we have tea in the back when it’s quiet, but that doesn’t happen often. We open up early because the bazaar starts early. It’s a simple operation, and we just try to be a reliable place for the people around here when they aren't feeling their best. We've seen the bazar change quite a lot over the years, but we just stay here in the same spot.
