Punjab Electrode Industries

Our business, Punjab Electrode Industries, is situated over by the Majitha Road Bye Pass Chowk. Specifically, we are in Ram Nagar, tucked into Gali No.1. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in the lane sometimes if someone parks a scooter in the wrong way. The area is mostly small shops and houses mixed together. You can hear the traffic from the bypass pretty much all the time, it is like a constant hum in the background. Inside the shop, the air usually has that sharp smell of metal and welding materials. We have stacks of electrodes and boxes piled up against the walls. There is a small desk where we keep the papers, but mostly it is just work space. The lights are a bit dim in the back, but we know where everything is. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the address and the name so people can find the gate. Most of our days are spent checking the stock or getting things ready for the local guys who come by. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on the stools near the door to get some fresh air from the street. It is a decent place to work and the people around here are friendly enough. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure things get done right.
