Mothers Pride

Our school is located right at 35, D-Block in Ranjit Avenue, which is quite close to the Amritsar Bus Stand. It's a handy spot for parents who are commuting or live nearby in the city. We’ve been here in Amritsar for some time now, focusing on looking after the little kids. The building is a bit of an older style but it works well for what we do. Every morning is pretty loud with children running around and teachers trying to get everyone settled into their spots. It’s not always perfectly quiet or organized, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with small children. We have some play areas and classrooms that are full of drawings and toys. Sometimes the paint is a bit chipped on the walls, but the kids don't mind that much. Most of our staff live right here in Amritsar, so they know the neighborhood families pretty well. We spend a lot of time just teaching basic things, like how to share toys or sit still for a few minutes. It's practical work. If you are coming from the bus stand, it’s just a short trip over to Ranjit Avenue. We usually have someone at the gate during the day. It’s a normal, everyday kind of place where things happen at a kid's pace. We don't do much fancy stuff, just keep the kids safe and busy.
