Malhotra Mona Architect

I have been running things here at House No.4-A on Alps Avenue for quite a while now. If you know the area near the Govt School in Nusshera, you probably passed by us. We are right opposite the Hardas Petrol Pump. It gets pretty busy around here during the day with all the cars and bikes stopping for fuel. Chhota Nausshera is a decent spot to work from, even if the Majitha Bye-Pass traffic gets a bit loud in the afternoons. Inside the office, it’s mostly just stacks of drawings and a couple of old desks. Mona usually handles the main design work while the rest of us try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We have some tea in the morning, look at the site plans, and then head out to check on how things are going. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we just wipe it off and keep going. People usually find us by looking for the petrol pump first since the school gate is often crowded with kids. We have been in this part of Amritsar long enough to know the shortcut routes. It’s just a small team here. Most of the time we are arguing about where a wall should go or why a contractor is late. It’s basic work but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
