Our office is at number 1519, just outside Maharani Market in Katra Ahluwalia. It’s a very crowded area with narrow lanes and lots of shops. We've been operating out of this spot for a long time. M. L. Bhatia & Co. is a small firm. We deal with various trade matters and paperwork. The office is full of old ledgers and files that have been there for years. We don't have fancy furniture or a modern layout. It’s just a room with some desks and a lot of paper. We spend our days talking to people who come in from the market. It’s a busy place and there’s always noise coming from the street. We don't use any high-tech systems for our work, just the old-fashioned way of doing things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there and wait, or use a hand fan. It’s part of life in Katra Ahluwalia. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and go home. People know us for being honest and straightforward. We don't have a website or a marketing person. If you want to find us, you just have to navigate through the market and look for number 1519. It’s a bit of a maze, but once you’ve been here, you won’t forget the way. We’ve stayed here because it’s where all the action is. It’s a real, local business. We've been part of this market community for many years now and we like it.
