Seven Pixcels

You’ll find Seven Pixcels over on Lawrance Road. It’s a well-known street, and being located here means there’s always something happening outside the window. Our space is pretty basic. We have our computers set up and spend most of our time looking at designs or working on digital stuff. The name might sound a bit modern, but the way we work is pretty down-to-earth. Lawrance Road can get quite crowded with traffic, so we usually hear the horns and the general buzz of the city throughout the day. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of people; we’re just a small team trying to get things right. The office is often a bit cluttered with notes and sketches. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most days it’s just us and some coffee, trying to figure out the best way to lay out a project. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes we get stuck on a small detail for hours. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just like what we do and try to keep our heads down. It’s a good location because we can easily step out for a quick bite or some fresh air when the screens get to be too much. The rent is okay and the internet works most of the time, so we can't complain much. We’ve been on Lawrance Road for a while now and it feels like the right place for us.
