Master Gears

Master Gears is located at No. 3 Moodern Street, right off 100 Feet Road. It’s a loud neighborhood with all the traffic, but we’re used to it. Inside the shop, it’s mostly the sound of metal and machines. We’ve got stacks of gears and parts all over the place. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to walk, but we know where everything is kept. I’ve been working with these things for years, so the smell of oil and grease is just normal to me now. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. Usually, the floor is a bit stained and there are tools laying on the benches. We spend our time fixing things or making sure parts fit together correctly. Customers come in with old parts that have worn down, and we see what we can do. It’s messy work, and your hands are always dirty by the end of the day. There’s a small desk in the corner for bills, but mostly we are on our feet. We don’t talk much about business strategies or anything like that. We just look at the work that needs doing and try to finish it by the time we close up. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. If the shop is a bit cluttered, it is just because we are busy with the actual work.
