Golden Plastics Industries

We are based out of 316 Focal Point, which is mostly an area full of workshops and small factories. It’s a noisy place to work because of all the heavy machinery running in the neighboring units. At Golden Plastics Industries, we spend our time working with various plastic molds and machines to create different items. The floor is concrete and often has bits of plastic scrap lying around that we have to sweep up. It gets really hot in the summer because the machines put out a lot of heat, but we have some big exhaust fans that help a bit. We aren't a high-tech facility with shiny floors. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on getting the production done. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who have been doing this for years and know exactly how the machines behave. Sometimes a heater band blows out or a pipe leaks, and we have to stop everything to fix it ourselves. We don't have a front office with a receptionist; usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the main shed and find us. We make parts that go into other products or things people use around the house. We just try to make sure everything is shaped correctly and doesn't have too many rough edges. It’s a straightforward industrial job. We start early in the morning and head home once the day's quota is finished.
