About Khanna Nidhi Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Amritsar
I work out of my office at A-50 in Green City, which is part of Aakash Avenue. It’s a nice, quiet spot that allows me to focus on the technical side of architecture. I’ve been based here for a few years now. Most of my day involves sitting at my drawing table or looking over structural reports. I don’t have a big fancy studio with a dozen assistants. It’s mostly just me taking care of the details. I handle a lot of different things, from the initial sketches to the final building permits. Green City is a bit away from the main noise of the city, which I appreciate. Sometimes clients come by to look at samples of tiles or paint, and we just sit and talk through the options at the big table. I try to be very realistic about how long things take. Building anything is a slow process and there are always delays you can’t predict. I spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, making sure things arrive when they are supposed to. My goal is just to get the job done right so people can move into their homes without any headaches. It’s not always easy, but it’s rewarding when a project finally finishes. I’m usually here from morning until late evening, just keeping things moving along as best as I can. It’s a lot of responsibility but I enjoy the routine.
