Our office is right on the campus at Guru Nanak Dev University, specifically at C-27. Being in a university setting makes for a different kind of workday. We see a lot of students and faculty passing by our window. It’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of a commercial market. Kaur Ranbir started this to help with local design needs around the campus and the surrounding areas. We’ve got a small room filled with blueprints and some old drafting tools that we still haven't thrown away. We don't go for the high-end stuff. Most of what we do is straightforward building plans and making sure things are up to code. It’s a lot of back and forth with the paperwork. We aren't a big corporation, just a small group of people who enjoy drawing. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the scraps of paper and coffee mugs. We try to keep up with the new software, but we still like drawing by hand when we can. It’s a bit slower that way, but it feels more real to us. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to help people build things that work. Most of our clients are locals or people connected to the university. We like it that way. It keeps things grounded. If we're not in the office, we're probably walking across campus to check on something or grab a quick lunch.
