Karam Kamal Hospitals is tucked away in E Block of Ranjit Avenue, specifically at number 91. If you live in this part of town, you know it’s a bit quieter than the main commercial roads, but we still stay fairly busy. We are a private limited hospital, though it doesn't always feel like a big institution when you’re inside. Most of our staff have been here for years and they know the regulars who come in for checkups. Ranjit Avenue is a nice area, and we like being situated in this block. The building is a standard size, and we’ve made use of every bit of space we have for the different rooms and desks. It’s not always perfectly quiet, as there is usually some kind of maintenance or cleaning happening to keep the place decent. We see families from the neighborhood all the time. Sometimes the weather makes the walk from the street a bit of a chore, but people still find their way to us. We don't do a lot of fancy advertising or anything like that. Word usually travels by people talking at the local markets. Our focus is just on the daily tasks, making sure patients get seen and the paperwork gets filed correctly. It’s a steady kind of life here at number 91. We just show up, open the doors, and do what needs to be done for whoever walks in that day.
