Josan Gauravdeep Singh Architect is based at H No.265/159-A in Partap Nagar, right along G.T. Road. Being on such a major road means there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and buses passing by. We’ve grown used to it though. Our office is a straightforward place where the main focus is on the drafting boards and the computers. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old project photos and a calendar. Most of our work comes from people nearby in Partap Nagar or from folks who see our sign as they drive along G.T. Road. We spend a good chunk of our time dealing with the practical side of construction. It’s one thing to draw a pretty picture and another thing entirely to make sure it can be built on a budget. We talk to clients about their ideas and then try to ground them in reality. There’s a lot of scribbling on tracing paper and a lot of coffee being drank throughout the day. We aren't a big firm, so when you call, you usually talk to the person actually doing the work. It keeps things simple and helps avoid any confusion between the drawing and the actual building. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
