Inderjeet Singh Gill Architect

I run Inderjeet Singh Gill Architect out of H.No.2311 in Block-C, Ranjit Avenue. It’s a pretty well-known part of town, so people don’t have much trouble finding the house. My office is set up in a dedicated part of the building. It’s a straightforward setup with a couple of desks, a big printer for the blueprints, and a lot of storage for old files. I’ve been an architect for a long time, and I’ve seen the styles in Ranjit Avenue change quite a bit over the decades. I mostly work on local houses. People come to me when they want something that fits the local climate and looks right on the street. I don’t go for anything too experimental. I think a building should last and be easy to maintain. A lot of my day is spent drawing or meeting with clients to go over their ideas. They usually have a list of things they want, and I have to figure out how to fit it all into the budget and the space. It’s like a puzzle. Sometimes we spend hours just moving a door a few inches on the plan to make everything work better. It’s not glamorous, but it’s satisfying when the project is finished and the family moves in. I keep the office pretty low-key. No fancy logos or polished sales pitches here. Just some honest work and a lot of technical drawings.
