HS & Sons

HS & Sons is our family business located at Shop Number 4 in the Kitte Tahli Wala Bazar along Sultanwind Road. We have been part of this bazar for a long time, and we have seen many other shops come and go over the years. Our shop is quite traditional and we don't bother with any modern renovations or fancy signage. We keep things simple because that is what our customers like. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or folks who have lived in this part of town their whole lives. We sell a variety of items that are useful for daily life, and we try to keep the shelves well-stocked. It is a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered, but we usually know exactly where everything is hiding. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of family members and a helper who has been with us forever. The bazar is a lively place, especially in the evening when everyone comes out to shop and talk. We spend a lot of our time just chatting with the people who stop by, even if they aren't buying anything that day. It is more about the community for us than just making a sale. We open up the shutters early in the morning and stay until late, just like everyone else on this street. It’s a steady, quiet way to live and we are happy with how things are.
