Holy Heart Hospital

Our hospital is located right by the Taranwala Bridge on NH 1, just opposite New Amritsar. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of traffic and heavy trucks rumbling by at all hours. It’s a very visible spot, and most people in Amritsar know exactly where we are because of the bridge. The building sits there against the skyline, and it’s a familiar sight for commuters. Inside, the atmosphere is pretty straightforward. We don't go in for a lot of decoration or fancy talk. It’s a practical space designed for a lot of movement. In the winter months, the air gets cold and foggy, and we have to make sure everything stays warm enough inside. Our staff comes from all over the local area, and they bring a bit of that local spirit with them. We spend a lot of time in the corridors, moving from one patient to the next. The waiting room often has people who have traveled a fair distance to get here. We have a simple cafeteria and some benches outside where people sit when they need a bit of air. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a hospital that deals with real-life situations every hour. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come, whether it's an emergency or just a routine check-up for someone from the city.
