Gururoop Hospital

Gururoop Hospital is located right on Tarantara Road. It’s a long road and we sit right alongside it. The building is a simple structure that’s been here for years. We don't have any of those modern glass fronts or anything fancy. It’s just bricks and mortar. Inside, we have several rooms for different needs. The floors are made of stone and they stay cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a lot of people from the surrounding areas coming in because of our location on Tarantara Road. It’s a main route, so there’s always traffic. We hear the honking of the cars and trucks all day long. You get used to the background noise after a few weeks of working here. Our staff is a small group of people who have been together for a long time. We don't have a lot of turnover. We just do the daily chores, check on the patients, and keep the records updated. The lighting is okay, but we use lamps in the corners where it gets a bit dark. It's a practical way to run a hospital. We don't try to impress anyone with how we look. We just focus on the work that needs to be done. It's a basic setup but it works for us and the people who come here. We keep a pot of water near the entrance for anyone who is thirsty. The fan in the main room makes a clicking sound.
