Gurmeet Tour & Travels

Our location is right by Akhara Baba Shri Chand Ji Maharaj, and we are also very close to Hotel C.J. International. This part of Amritsar is very special because of the religious history and all the pilgrims who come through. We set up our travel business here to be right in the heart of things. It is a very busy area, especially early in the morning when people are heading out for prayers. Our office is simple and functional. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we sort out their travel plans. It can get pretty cramped when a big group comes in all at once, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be some big corporate travel agency. We are just local people who know the city and the surrounding areas well. We deal with taxis and local sightseeing mostly. The atmosphere around here is quite peaceful despite the crowds because of the nearby hotel and the Akhara. We often talk to the visitors who are staying next door and help them find their way around the city. There is always someone looking for a ride or wanting to know the best time to visit the temple. We just stay here and do our part to help them out. It is a steady job and we like the people we meet.
