Gautam General Store

We have been here in Sandhu Colony for a while now. It is just a small place near Ocm Mill on Gali No. 1. People around B Block know where to find us. We mostly keep things people need for their homes every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the morning when neighbors come by for milk or bread. It is not fancy at all. We just try to keep the shelves filled with what folks ask for. Dealing with distributors can be a headache, but we manage it. The shop is small but we know most of the faces that walk through the door. If you are walking down Gali No. 1, you will see the sign for Gautam General Store. We open early because that is when people are out. It is just a regular life running a shop here in Amritsar. Most days are quiet until school lets out. Then kids come in for snacks. We just keep going, day after day. Nothing special happens, just the usual work of a corner store. If we don't have something, we try to get it the next time the truck comes. Being in Sandhu Colony feels like home to us. It is a simple place to get your groceries and move on with your day. We like the local vibe of B Block. No big city rush here, just the usual neighborhood talk and the sound of the mill nearby.
