Dukh Niwaran Mission Hospital

Dukh Niwaran Mission Hospital is tucked into Phase II, and we have been operating out of this building for quite some time. It is a busy place because there are always people coming and going from the surrounding area. The hospital isn't one of those new, shiny medical centers you see in the city. It’s a practical building that sees a lot of use every single day. We have various wards and a lot of staff who have been with us for years. The floors are a bit worn down from all the walking, but we keep them as clean as possible. During the rainy season, the entrance gets a bit muddy, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We see families, elderly people, and kids from all over the neighborhood. Sometimes the waiting area gets crowded and people have to stand, especially in the mornings when the clinics are most active. Our doctors are usually busy and move quickly from one room to the next. We have a small canteen where the tea is pretty good and the staff usually takes their breaks there. It’s a community spot as much as it is a hospital. We don’t have much in the way of fancy decorations, just some health posters on the walls and old wooden benches. It’s a place where work gets done and we try to help whoever walks through the gate.
