Dr. Om Parkash Satyam Netralaya is situated at No. 117-a on The Mall, which is right near Novelty Chowk. Anyone who lives around here knows that Novelty Chowk is one of those spots that always has something going on. Being on The Mall means we are in a very recognizable part of the city. We open up the doors every morning and start seeing people who have come for their eyes. It is usually a mix of older folks and some younger people too. The building is simple and we try to keep it organized so people don't get confused when they walk in. You can hear the sounds of the street from the front, but once you get further inside, it settles down a bit. We spend a lot of our time just managing the schedule and making sure the waiting area doesn't get too crowded. Since we are near Novelty Chowk, people often use that as a landmark to find us. It’s a practical location and we have been here at 117-a for a good while. The staff is used to the daily flow of patients coming through the doors. We don't have much time for sitting around because there is always a chart to find or someone to talk to. It is just a normal, hardworking eye clinic where we do our bit every day. The neighborhood is familiar to us, and we like being in this part of town where everything is accessible.
