Dr. Asma Herbals

Our place is on G.T. Road, right near the OBC Bank. It’s actually 254/13, right beside that Chawla Tour and Travels office. You can't miss it if you're walking down towards Tehsilpura. Dr. Asma Herbals has been in this spot for quite a while. The smell of herbs and dried plants is always hanging in the air inside. It’s a bit of a small shop, and we have bags of stuff stacked up in the corners. We don't really have a big fancy storefront. People usually just drop in because they’ve been coming here for years or their parents told them about us. The traffic on G.T. Road is always loud, so we usually keep the door shut, but it still gets noisy. We spend our days sorting through different ingredients and packing things up. There’s a lot of dust from the roots and leaves we process, so we’re always sweeping. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We don't use any of those big marketing agencies. We just do the work and hope people find what they need. Sometimes we run out of certain items because the supplier is late, but that's just part of the business. We try to be helpful when people ask questions, even if we're busy in the back. It’s a humble business, just trying to provide what's traditional and useful. We close up around seven most nights and walk home through the market.
