Dhawan Hospital

Being out here on 8-Officer Enclave Gt Road means we deal with a lot of noise from the main road. The trucks go by all day and night. The hospital building itself has been around for a bit, so there are always small things that need fixing, like a leaky tap or a door that squeaks. We started this place because it was needed in the Cheratta area. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. It’s a lot of long shifts and drinking tea in the small break room. The walls are a plain off-white color and we have some old chairs in the hallway for families. It’s not like those big city hospitals that look like malls. Here, you see the same faces every week. We spend a lot of time checking the monitors and making sure the supplies are stocked up. Sometimes the Gt Road traffic makes it hard for people to turn in, but they manage. It’s just a regular hospital doing the daily work of seeing people who feel unwell. We don’t have a fancy website or anything. Most people just know where we are because they’ve lived here forever. The floors are scrubbed every morning and evening. It’s a busy life, and we are just trying to get through the daily list of things to do. We usually close the gates late at night once everything has settled down.
