Deep General Store

We've been here in the Main Bazar for quite a while now. Deep General Store is just a small place near the Shiv Mandir in Kot Mit Singh. People around Islamabad Nagar usually drop by when they need something quick for the house. It isn't a fancy shop or anything, just shelves full of the usual stuff like soap, flour, and snacks. Living and working in Amritsar means we see the same faces every day. We open up early because that's when most people are out getting things for breakfast. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the narrow lane, especially being so close to the temple, but we manage. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the stock is filled up. If we don't have what you want, we try to get it by the next time you come around. It’s mostly locals who shop here, people we’ve known for years. The shop address is in Islamabad, right on the main stretch. We don’t do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where we are. It’s just about keeping the basics on hand so people don’t have to go too far. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit, but the store stays pretty much the same. It's a simple life running a shop like this. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever walks through the door.
