Daljeet Creations

We've been at 19 Kashmir Avenue for a while now. Daljeet Creations is basically just us working on different designs and trying to get things right for the people who come in. It’s not a huge place, but it keeps us busy. Most days involve a lot of cutting fabric and looking at sketches. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when we have a big order, but that’s just how it goes here. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to handle the work ourselves. You can find us easily enough on the avenue. We don't really do fancy ads or anything. People usually just hear about us from someone else who got something made here. It’s a lot of manual work, sitting at the machines and checking the stitching. We try to be careful with what we do. The neighborhood is quiet mostly. If you walk past 19 Kashmir Avenue, you'll probably see us inside working. There isn't much to say other than we enjoy making things. It's what we know how to do. Sometimes we run out of thread or a machine acts up, but we fix it and keep going. That’s life at Daljeet Creations. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the clothes look okay and the seams are strong. It's a steady job and we like the people we meet every day.
