Cosmetic And Gift Centre

Our shop, Cosmetic And Gift Centre, is located in the Main Bazar of Krishna Nagar, not far from Joura Fatak. It’s a very active part of town with a lot of shops squeezed together along the road. We sell a variety of things like creams, bindi packets, hair clips, and also some gift items for special occasions. It’s a small space, so every inch of the wall is covered with something. We spend our mornings cleaning the glass cases and dusting the bottles because the street outside is quite dusty. The noise from the trains near Joura Fatak is something we have just gotten used to over time. People from all over Krishna Nagar come here to pick up their daily essentials. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. We just have a wooden counter and some shelves. I usually sit near the front while my daughter helps customers find specific shades or items they are looking for. We’ve been here long enough that we know what our customers like to buy. It’s a simple business and we don't try to make it more than it is. We just want to stay busy and keep the shop running for the local community. It’s a hard-working atmosphere but we like the daily routine and seeing our regular neighbors. We keep it honest and plain.
