If you go right across from the Sahida Sahib Gurudwara, you will find us at Shop No 5 in the Baba Deep Singh Ji Market. That is where Chardi Kalan Tour & Travels is based. It is a very busy area because so many people come to visit the Gurudwara every single day. We’ve been here for a long time, and the market is like a second home to us. Being in 143002 near such a holy site means we meet people from all over the world who need help getting around. Our shop isn't large, but it’s right in the middle of all the bustle. We mostly arrange taxis and help people figure out their travel routes to other cities. It gets very loud outside with the pilgrims and the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big signs. People see our shop when they come to pray, and they stop in if they need a ride. We keep things very simple and straightforward. Sometimes we are just sitting on the bench outside the shop chatting with the neighbors or other drivers. We know the roads of Amritsar like the back of our hand.
