This office is at 29 The Mall Road, and it’s where Man Simran Pal Singh does his architectural work. The Mall Road is a pretty well-known stretch, so people don’t usually have much trouble finding us. The building itself has been here for a long time, and the office has a bit of that old-school feel to it. There’s a lot of wood furniture and big windows that let in plenty of light, which is good for when we’re working on detailed drawings. We don’t really go in for any of that modern, minimalist office stuff; it’s just a place to work. You’ll see plenty of books on architecture and engineering lining the walls, and the desks are usually buried under piles of notes and sketches. A typical day involves meeting with people to talk about their building ideas and then spending hours trying to make those ideas work within the local rules. It’s a lot of math and careful planning. We handle everything from small home repairs to bigger commercial buildings. Sometimes the work is slow and methodical, and other times it’s a bit of a rush to get a project submitted on time. We’ve been at this address on The Mall Road for quite some time now, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the city outside our door. It is a solid place to work and we keep focused on the blueprints.
