Kartar Chame

You can find us right on Chabal Road. It’s a straight enough road, but there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been operating Kartar Chame from this spot for quite some time now. The building is an older one, and we’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times after the monsoon rains. Inside, it’s mostly just a large open space where we keep our equipment and materials. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. People usually just drop by because they’ve seen the sign or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s the kind of place where you can walk in and see exactly what we’re working on. There’s usually a bit of dust in the air and the smell of grease or old metal. We keep a small stove in the back for making tea when neighbors stop by to chat. The work is mostly manual and involves a lot of lifting. We aren't big on using computers for everything; most of our notes are kept in thick ledgers on the main desk. It can be a bit disorganized during the busy season when everyone wants their orders at the same time. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep up with the demand. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. Chabal Road is where we belong. It might not look like much, but we get the jobs finished eventually.
