Brij Mohan Mehra Sons

Our place is right there on Golden Temple Road, which means we see a whole lot of the world passing by our front door every single day. Brij Mohan Mehra Sons has been a part of this street for a long time now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the devotees are heading toward the temple and the smell of food is everywhere. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising because people just know where we are. The shop isn't anything too special to look at, just a regular place with some old wooden counters and shelves that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to the regular customers who have been coming to us for years. It’s loud out on the street with the rickshaws and the tourists, but we like the energy of it. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when the crowds are thick, but that is just part of living and working on such a famous road. My brothers and I take turns sitting at the main desk. We don’t have a fancy website or a big staff, just a few local guys who help us out with the heavy lifting and the cleaning. It’s a simple life, honestly. We open up early, drink a lot of chai, and handle whatever business comes through the door before the sun goes down.
