B.K. Mechanical Works

B.K. Mechanical Works is located over at 54 Jodh Nagar, right along Sultan Wind Road. It’s a busy area and there’s always something happening outside the shop. We do a lot of mechanical stuff here, mostly working with metal and parts that need fixing or making from scratch. The floor is usually a bit greasy and there are stacks of iron and steel in the corners. We’ve got our lathes and drills and they stay running for most of the day. It’s a loud place, honestly. You can’t really avoid the noise when you’re in this line of work. Sometimes we’re working on a big piece of machinery that takes up half the floor space, and other times it’s just small bits and bobs for local customers. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us with grease on our hands or busy measuring something. Jodh Nagar has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here doing the same kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just trying to do the work that comes in properly. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when a machine breaks down and we have to stay late to finish. It’s just a regular workshop where we use our hands and tools every single day to keep things moving for our customers.
