Bina Bansal Architect. We are over on Ranjit Avenue at D-252. The Naar Market is right there, so it’s always busy with people shopping and cars trying to park. The office is tucked away. It’s mostly just Bina and a couple of us helping out with the drawings. We have a lot of samples lying around—tiles, paint swatches, bits of wood. It gets messy during the middle of the week. We do a lot of residential stuff around here. People in the neighborhood know where to find us. We don’t have a big sign or anything. It’s more of a place where you sit down and talk about what you want your kitchen to look like. Some days we are out on sites getting shoes dirty. Other days we just sit here and fight with the software. The coffee machine broke last month so we’ve been getting tea from the stall around the corner. It’s actually better. The light in the office is good in the afternoon. We try to keep the files organized but it’s a struggle. Most of our clients come from word of mouth. We’ve been in this spot for a good number of years. It’s a comfortable space to work in. Not much else to say really. We just keep drawing and planning things out until they look right on the screen. It's a living and we enjoy the process.
