Batra Clinic

So we are here at Batra Clinic right on the main GT Road in Amritsar. It is a busy spot and you can always hear the traffic passing by outside. Most people around here know where we are because we’ve been in this same spot for a while now. It isn’t a fancy place with leather chairs or anything like that, but we keep it clean and do what we need to do for the folks who walk in. Some days it gets really packed in the waiting area, especially in the mornings when the buses are running more often. We just pull out a few extra stools and people wait their turn. It’s mostly locals coming in for regular checkups or when they aren’t feeling great. We see a lot of the same faces month after month. The tea stall next door usually brings over some chai if we have a minute to breathe. That’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office. It is just a regular clinic where we try to help out. If you are walking down GT Road, you will see our sign hanging out front. It’s a bit faded from the sun but it’s still there. We open up early and stay until the last person is taken care of, which sometimes means going a bit late into the evening. That's fine by us though.
